Big brands and spectacle at the Champs Elysées in Paris

The “Avenue des Champs Elysées” in Paris is a synonym for luxury and decadence. Here you find most big brands: Cartier (jewels), Louis Vuitton (handbags), Disney store (toys), Renault-Citroën (cars)…. The street is not only known for shopping but you also have places where you can eat a meal or a drink. The classic book and newspaper stores look really special on the sidewalk. Who says Paris, thinks about entertainment, the city of lights. If you want to go to a cabaret show, you find your taste at the Lido. Fancy a game of Poker in the world famous Aviation club, it is all possible. However these evening activities are very expensive. July will be the busiest month for this street, on July 14 you have the impressive military parade and on July 24, the final day of “Le Tour de France”. Something to look forward to.

Je vindt hier vele top merken: Cartier (juwelen), Louis Vuitton (handtassen), Disney Store (speelgoed), Renault-Citroën (autos)….De straat staat niet enkel bekend voor zijn winkels maar je kan er ook iets eten en drinken op de terrasjes. De authentieke Franse krantenkiosken op het voetpad zien er speciaal uit. Wie Parijs zegt, denkt aan uitgaan, het nachtleven, de lichtstad. Hier vind je de Lido met zijn mooie cabaret show. Heb je zin in poker, dan kan je spelen in de wereldberoemde Aviation club, het behoort allemaal tot de mogelijkheden. Dit zijn echter zeer dure avond activiteiten. Juli wordt de drukste maand van de Champs Elysées, op 14 juli heb je de indrukwekkende militaire parade en op 24 juli de finale dag van de “Tour de France”. Iets om naar uit te kijken..
