We are loyal customers of the Hotel Van der Valk restaurants. We have already been in Oostkamp, Nazaret, Bijhorst, Nootdorp, Vianen, Assen, Arhnem, Maastricht, and now also in Almere. We like the style of the restaurants and the food has a good price quality balance. This time we didn’t only go for the restaurant but also booked a hotel room. We were for two days in Almere and the room was very spacious, modern, good airco and a plasma flat screen TV. The bathroom had a double bath and a walk in rain shower. Breakfast was top. When we went to the restroom behind the lobby, we saw Angelina Jolie printed on the entrance door for the ladies, who do you think was displayed on the other door? It was a good experience.

Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Toen we naar het toilet gingen achter de lobby, zagen we Angelina Jolie geprint op de deur van de dames, raad eens wie er op de andere deur stond? Het was een goede ervaring..

Brad Pitt?? :p
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!!!! Really, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the bathroom doors, how funny! I am glad you got a picture of her to show us!! This place looks so fancy, and also clean! And the food! The steak looks huge, and I like the way they put the fries in a pretty glass.
ReplyDeleteSo läßt es sich leben, das tolle Hotel würde mir gefallen, es sieht super aus.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüsse Karin
That crystal "tree" light is snazzy. Looks as though you had the place to yourselves! Another good meal - sigh...
ReplyDeleteVery fine place well photographed Filip!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, do you have to actually work for a living or are you a billionaire?
( you don't have to answer)
Woah! I would like to stay there. It looks very modern and clean. We used to watch a TV show called Van der Valk. I have a blog friend who lives in Almere. "biebkriebels"

No, I am working, it doesn't look like that on the blog because the articles are spread over a longer period. One full day trip gives me material for a few days of blog writing. So the published articles are sometimes up to date with one day delay but also it could be a few months old. For my work I am also travelling a lot.
You don't have to be rich for this hotel. Van der Valk is making super offers sometimes 2 nights, including breakfast, a dinner, and some extras for around 100 euro a person. One of my friends stayed in this hotel for 50 euro.
That looks really good and I love the ladies door:) So who was in man's room door?! I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteHoi Filip,
ReplyDeletePrachtig interieur in dit mooie hotel. Niet verkeerd om daar te verblijven. Ook het eten ziet er heerlijk uit, je maakt me er wel lekker mee hoor...hhmmm...!!
