Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, Dubai

We have already written an article about this 828m tall world record breaking building when we visited the observation deck. This time we are sharing a few pictures with you from the exterior. The reflection of the sun in the glass tower almost blinds you. The Burj Khalifa’s shape has been designed in separate rounded blocks each containing tens of floors. This design ensures that the building is not damaged or doesn’t get into balance problems during dessert storms or heavy wind from the sea. We end the article with a photo of the sun set.

  5. Your last picture is amazing, it looks like a giant golden needle! I love all the pictures, though. Especially the one that shows the wide base and construction at the bottom. I still don't know how they can know if it would be safe in winds and storms, it would still scare me to be in it.

  6. I prefer to be on the ground floor thank you! But the building is stunning. Not a good portrait of the folk at the bottom though. Should have used force flash!

  9. It sure is an amazing building. I wonder how they have air conditioned it to withstand the heat coming through all that glass. The last picture is terrific.

  14. You have an amazing blog dear.
Dubai has put itself well and truly on the global map over the past decade as one of the top places to visit.
Burj Khalifa is definitely an amazing experience – but there’s far more to the city than that.
The city’s ever-growing skyline, audacious man-made islands, mega malls, seven-star service and permanently sunny weather has transform Dubai into an international holiday destination, a regional shopping magnet, and the Middle East’s most ostentatious, glamorous party capital.
Thanks! for sharing your lovely experience in Dubai.
Your posts share good information of exactly where to go in Dubai.
