Unfortunately we did not see any life colibris in Ecuador but the art exhibition in Quito at the equator line shows how colorful they really are. We once saw and took a pictures of a colibri in Utah and added them to our article.
Kolibrie vogels zijn befaamd voor hun snelheid. Hun vleugeltjes bewegen aan een verbazingwekkende snelheid zodat ze bijna onzichtbaar worden. Een top atleet Kolibrie kan tot 80 keer zijn vleugels openen en dichten per seconde. De Zuid-Amerikaanse Kolibries zijn heel kleurrijk.
Spijtig genoeg hebben we er geen echte gezien in Quito maar de kunst tentoonstelling aan de evenaar lijn toont ons hoe kleurrijk ze wel zijn. We zagen eens een Kolibrie in Utah en hebben twee foto's van deze aan ons artikel toegevoegd.
