Enjoying top attractions on a Thames river cruise, London

The Thames River flows like a snake through the city center of London. It is a great way to explore wonderful buildings on both sides of the bank. Only the short distance between Houses of Parliament and the Tower Bridge is already unbelievable.

We took a longer trip up to Greenwich but the short part described above is the best. You see fantastic boats which have been transformed into restaurants or bars. The top attractions on the way are the London Eye, Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Chard, the Tower of London, the Walkie Talkie and the Tower Bridge. Occasionally you see a speed boat flying by.

  2. I love the boat that looks like a steamboat! Also the cool art ship. The building that looks like glass steps I love, office buildings I presume? What is the shorter, pointed, cylindrical building with stripes around it? That is my favorite building.

  7. I do like the boats with their paintings on them, something different that I haven't seen before.
    Your photos are lovely.
The old and the new go well together, and for some reason I really didn't think about London having new buildings in the city.
