Boston Harborwalk Fort Point and its modern architecture

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the USA but it has also a modern part. Here at the Harborwalk Fort Point, you see many skyscrapers and some of them have an amazing architecture: round shapes, triangles sticking out, a bridge with nice pillars, and buildings with glass walls. At the other side of the South Bay canal, you see an older part of town with the Boston Children’s museum and a giant milk bottle.

  2. I like Boston because of its blend of old and new - one of our oldest US cities, it has aged well, I think. Your photos do it justice.

  3. it is very interesting to see the blend of old with new architecture and sometimes modern-art thrown in too. A little ecclectic; I don't mind it ... Nice to visit the other side via your wonderful photography.

  5. Some of these pictures look exactly ad I imagined it would look. I do love the giant milk bottle, and I see windows and awnings around it, what do they sell there? I know it would be too easy to guess milkshakes!

  9. Those buildings are very modern and stark. It must have been early in the morning when you took the first picture of the bridge – just one car and no pedestrians!
