Warnings and General Impressions of Barcelona, one of the top cities of Europe

In our general impressions articles we try to provide a serie of pictures which do not reflect the most famous monuments but give a flavour and feeling of the city. Here in Barcelona we made a selection of modern art at the harbour, a vintage car in a museum, classic art on a wall, an old drink water fountain, an FC Barcelona football poster, a square with palm trees, street artists, a castle, an old Roman cemetery and a horse carrousel.

Barcelona is one of our top three of European cities, it is amazing. The city attracts large volumes of tourists and has a lot to offer. We advise you to take care of your purse and wallet because at the same time, Barcelona is swamped with pickpockets. When you pay attention you will have a great time, don’t get robbed.

  1. It is a shame that Barcelona is a place with so much pickpocketing, but as you mention if you take care and remain alert to what is going on around you then that is the answer. I think perhaps Rome is the next city which follows close on the heels of Barcelona for pickpockets.
