The methodist church of Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This church is sometimes referred to as the Old Enlgish church or the Wesleyan church. The first church on this location was built in 1851 and in 1978 replaced bu this beautifull wooden masterpiece. There are alomst no art elements inside but the church provides a warm ambience. We like the white blue doors and window covers.

  1. How very strange! All these blue columns with the red signs, is there a door at each one? Why so many doors? Does each row have a door? I also like the zig-zag picket fence.

  9. It has quite an historic appearance for a building which is relatively new.

    hartelijke groetjes, Hilde
