Celebrity Cruises is a Premium cruise line which is known for its excellent overall quality and very good cuisine. The Moonlight Sonata restaurant is the main dining room where you could have breakfast a la carte, sometimes lunch and every evening dinner if you decide not to go to a speciality restaurant.
When you enter you see an impressive glass tower at the end of the dining room, it is the wine tower. We can not imagine how many bottles they keep in this tower. On the ceiling hangs a fabulous modern chandelier, the dinning room is still empty. On the next picture the brunch has started.
All cooks manage there own stand, ranging from waffles, sushi, cold meats, fish and seafood, warm meals and desserts. The quality for such a big buffet is very good but it can be crowded. This is something which can not be avoided in the main dining room when you cruise with almost 3.000 passengers.

Oh my, what an amazing visit through your adventures. Fabulous photos, a dreamy place to dine, and the chef, wow, he was surely a pleasant looking cook, the endless treats, oh my which one not to taste! The ice sculptures incredible, as is the design in the dining area, and I always have to laugh, at how some guests, just don't dress for dinner any more- they just arrive in their cool designed t-shirts advertising something! What a fun time, thanks for sharing these. I am wondering where you both will be spending or rather ringing in the new year? On a beach, Times Square, a quiet park, or? I'll be back to see! Enjoy !

ReplyDeleteWow, that is an impressive wine tower. I wonder how they find a bottle they want. So much variety of food to choose from.
Schitterende omgeving.
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing shots these are. When we cruise, I can never get over the amazing things that these chefs do, day in and day out, week after week. It always seems to me as if they must work 24 hours a day, and they still have that smile on their faces, and look as if they are truly enjoying themselves. The wine tower is quite amazing!
