Shanghai Pudong, the most modern part of the city

About 20 years ago, Pudong was agriculture farm land, now it is the financial and economical heart of Shanghai, a collection of modern buildings and landmarks. We were unlucky that it was raining very hard and this is messing up our pictures. We however didn’t want to skip this article.

For us the most special building is the Oriental Pearl Tower with its two vertical balls. In front of the Television tower you see a horizontal building with again two balls in the shape of a globe. Where do they get the creativity? The pictures we took from above are from the observation deck of the Jin Mao tower, a building counting 88 floors.
